Pack Panic is operated by Keith Kostman ("we", "our", or "the seller"). This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
For the personal data described below, Keith Kostman acts as the data controller and decides how and why your data is processed. You can reach us via the contact page.
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Account email & password hash | Create your account, sign you in, link Pro entitlement to you | Performance of contract |
| Local game data (high score, settings, theme) | Remember your preferences and progress on this device | Legitimate interest |
| Subscription & purchase records (customer ID, plan, status, period dates) | Provision Pro features, manage renewals and cancellations | Performance of contract |
| Support messages | Respond to your questions | Legitimate interest |
| Anonymous, aggregated usage stats | Improve the game (e.g. session length, crashes) | Legitimate interest |
| Ad cookies & device identifiers (free users only) | Serve, personalize, and measure ads via Google AdSense | Consent / legitimate interest (per Google) |
We do not collect or store payment card details. See section 4.
We use your browser's localStorage to remember your high score and daily-challenge records, theme, sound and haptics preferences, and a cached Pro entitlement flag. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. When you purchase Pack Panic Pro, Paddle collects and processes the personal and payment data you provide on the checkout (name, email, billing address, country, payment method) and acts as an independent data controller for that purpose. Paddle's privacy notice is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy. We receive only the information needed to fulfil your order and provide ongoing access: Paddle customer ID, subscription/transaction ID, plan, status, and renewal dates.
Free players see occasional interstitial ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve, personalize, and measure ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Pro users see no ads.
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including: HTTPS for all traffic, password hashing handled by our authentication provider, row-level security on the database so each account can only access its own subscription, encrypted credentials and secrets, and limited internal access to production systems on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact page — we'll respond within 30 days. For data Paddle holds about your purchase, contact Paddle at paddle.net.
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Pack Panic is suitable for all ages, but we do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. Free users additionally receive ad cookies set by Google AdSense (see section 5). We do not use third-party marketing or analytics cookies beyond those described here.
We may update this policy as the game evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted in-app where reasonable.
